One of our favorite white breads – is Romanian Bread. Popular for its soft yet crunchy crust and flexible but compact crumb, it occupies an important place in our line of white breads.
There are rumors that this recipe made a long journey to Ireland from the Romanian village Birtin, from a small family who owned a masonry oven from the 19th century.
They used to bake it twice a week and then sold it at a marketplace. Our clients enjoy the luxury of having this bread on their table, nice and fresh any day they wish.
