“The only impossible journey is the one you never begin.”
It all started in August 2013, when the ideas and aromas of freshly baked bread were floating in the air. We got inspired, dwelt on them and started our own research into market requirements and customer needs.
With very little choice of these specific types of bread on the market, we saw the value of introducing a new product that would satisfy that demand. So we decided to begin our new, exciting journey.

Many events have happened and many changes have been made through the years, but our identity and mission have always remained the same. We are here to look after our customers — to meet their needs and desires. That defines our place in the baking landscape. We keep discovering the multicultural side of Ireland's population. You can see the result in our catalogue of breads: Polish, Lithuanian, Bulgarian, Romanian… Old, traditional tastes — each with a twist — so everyone can find what they're looking for. And the range keeps growing.
We've scaled our success and expanded our delivery to every corner of the island of Ireland, welcoming more and more families into the wider community of The Happy Family Bakery's bread lovers — people who share our pride in the products we make, value deep roots and traditions, champion bread on the table, and appreciate a quality loaf.
